Software Developer: Atlassian Forge Apps (m/f/d)

MESKRU GmbH is an Atlassian consultancy focused on Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management.

Alongside our client projects, we build our own Forge apps for Jira and Confluence Cloud, and we are looking for support to take them further. You will work in our product team, exclusively on our own apps rather than on client projects.

What you can expect

  • Designing, building and evolving our Forge apps for Jira and Confluence Cloud in TypeScript/JavaScript

  • Building user interfaces with UI Kit or Custom UI (React)

  • Integrating the Atlassian REST APIs and external systems via APIs and webhooks

  • Code reviews, automated tests and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

  • Troubleshooting, bug fixing and performance optimisation in production

  • Helping to shape the architecture and roadmap of our apps, together with consulting and support

What you bring

  • A degree in computer science, comparable training or equivalent practical experience

  • Excellent knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js

  • Experience with React or a comparable frontend framework

  • Confidence with REST APIs, Git and modern development workflows

  • Interest in the Atlassian platform, ideally some first experience with Jira and Confluence

  • A structured, quality-minded way of working and enjoyment of teamwork

  • Excellent German and English

Nice to have

  • Experience with Atlassian Forge or building Marketplace apps

  • Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures

  • Experience with test frameworks (e.g. Jest) and security best practices

  • Atlassian certifications are welcome
